Hello CHNA Residents,
Please see the important information from Post Patrol.
We’ve received a number of questions regarding our Dedicated Patrol Services. Please review the information below for clarity:
CHNA Member Discount
If you are an active member of the Cheviot Hills Neighborhood Association (CHNA), you are eligible for a $12/month discount. Here’s how it works:
- Each billing cycle, the CHNA board will provide Post Alarm with an up-to-date list of current members.
- Any subscriber with an active patrol agreement and current CHNA membership will automatically receive the $12 discount.
- This discount will be reflected in your first billing cycle—you do not need to take further action.
- While the monthly amount listed on your signed agreement cannot be changed, the discount will be applied accordingly. New contracts are not being issued to reflect the change.
Patrol Service Start Date
Our first 24/7 Dedicated Patrol vehicle will be in the community on May 5, 2025.
Dedicated Cheviot Hills Hotline
A dedicated hotline number for Cheviot Hills patrol subscribers will be provided. You will receive this information via email on April 25th.
Vacation Watch Requests
Starting April 25th, you may begin submitting Vacation Watch requests for any travel taking place on or after May 5th. Unfortunately, we cannot accept requests for coverage before the patrol start date.
Yard Sign Installation
Over the coming weeks, we will begin installing Post Alarm patrol yard signs at your residence. No action is required on your part.

As Summer Approaches, Safeguard What Matters the Most
We are excited to share that the first 24/7 Dedicated Patrol vehicle for the Cheviot Hills Neighborhood Association will officially begin service on May 5th! Based on the number of subscribers who have committed by April 30th, we will assess what additional coverage we can deploy.
While we continue to progress toward our subscriber requirement for this first vehicle, community support has been strong— and contracts are being signed daily. Our team feels strongly that having a Patrol car in place before summer is imperative as longer days, more travel, and a seasonal uptick in crime are ahead of us. Having a proactive solution in place before crime occurs is what makes our Dedicated Patrol Program successful.
Why Your Participation Matters:
- Only Subscribers will receive the full range of Dedicated Patrol benefits outlined below
- Our Dedicated Patrol Services are designed to protect the entire community— not just individual homes. The more homes we protect, the stronger our presence becomes, providing a powerful deterrent against crime and helping create a safer, more secure environment for everyone in Cheviot Hills.
What Is the Difference Between Post and Other Patrol Providers?
Unlike other Patrol companies that rotate through multiple areas or may have officers assigned to multiple communities, Post Patrol’s vehicles will be fully dedicated to serving Cheviot Hills—24/7. When you need help, you’re getting a fast response from Officers already located in your neighborhood, providing peace of mind knowing that our team is always nearby and ready to act.
If You Haven’t Yet Signed:
We are resending all contracts through the weekend—check your inbox (and spam/junk folder) for an email from notifications@eoriginal.net, and be sure to sign the most recent version. We suggest viewing the contract on a computer as the mobile/tablet views are not optimal for reviewing and signing.
Here’s what you’ll get when you sign up for Dedicated Patrol in CHNA:
✅ Dedicated CHNA Patrol Hotline – Direct access to our Central Monitoring Station for fast Patrol dispatch. Whether it’s suspicious activity, a vacation watch request, or a Patrol escort, you can simply call that number and speak directly with our monitoring center which can quickly handle the request.
✅ 24/7 Random Patrols Exclusively Within CHNA Boundaries – We’ll patrol your neighborhood, and only your neighborhood, around the clock, focusing heavily on subscriber properties and responding to suspicious activity, persons, or vehicles within the boundaries of the CHNA. Our Patrol cars never leave the area, ensuring a rapid, reliable response every time. We are the only Patrol company that will be in CHNA 24/7.
✅ Vacation Patrol Services – Including perimeter checks, extra spotlighting, package/mail collection, and trash can returns—your home will be closely monitored while you’re away.
✅ Patrol Escorts – A Patrol Officer can do a perimeter check and walk you safely to your door to ensure safe entry to your home. We require a 20-minute notice for this service.
✅ Response to Suspicious Activity – If you see something or someone unusual, we will respond immediately.
✅ Special Watch Requests – If you need extra Patrol presence for any reason.
✅ Alarm Response – Onsite response to alarm activations (whether your alarm is monitored by Post or another company)
Thank you again for expressing interest in Dedicated Patrol Services for the Cheviot Hills Neighborhood Association.
