Security & Safety Benefits
The CHHOA provides the following Security & Safety Benefits:
- APS security cars patrol the neighborhood for added safety. Hours of the patrol are contingent upon dues collected.
- HOA members are entitled to a 7-day annual vacation watch service. During this time, APS will assist by pulling in trash cans from the curb and collecting flyers, doorknob ads and packages left on the porch. If there are no fences or gates blocking access, APS will also check the property through the side yard.
- If a dues-paying homeowner is present at their home, they can call APS if they notice any suspicious activity.
- HOA members can request up to two escorts per month for additional safety, such as when returning home late and feeling concerned.
Association members can receive additional Security and Safety benefits provided by APS. For assistance call the APS Dispatch Center at 310-606-2727.
*APS patrol officers are not granted police powers and must conform to strict rules when responding to your calls.

Neighborhood Watch has proven to help reduce crime and to provide a neighborly network for support in an emergency, a natural disaster or to keep an eye on your home when you are away.
Neighborhood Watch depends on neighbors working together with one person per block leading the effort to keep everyone informed.
Do you know who your block captain is?
Our Neighborhood Watch program is only effective if we have enough participation.
